Personality: TIRED. They are constantly ready to be asleep even though they can't. Obsessed with learning about cryptids and monsters, fancies trolls the most. Collects old tomes. Learns to read/write in any language they can; goal is to be the leading specialist in various cryptid-related studies. Constantly running on empty, both sleep and food. Reckless. Will do just about anything for a rare book. Stoner. Prefers temperature controlled electronic cigarettes. Pretty much always stoned. Picky as hell about strains. Does not share. Ever.

Background: Flint was born into a very rich family, they were raised in San Jose del Cabo. As they got older, they showed a clear interest in the occult and cryptids; making a deal with their parents, Flint agreed to keep their grades as high as possible, and their parents agreed to pay them through any college they wanted. They're 25 and are still in school; they have been in college since they were 17 and just got their master's cryptology, and minors in non-human languages. They are still in school and plan to continue to do so; their family will pay for them to survive lavishly and they can continue to learn.

Right now, they've decided to move to Indieville to take courses at the community college in an attempt to have classes with non-humans and live among them to get insight that books can't provide fully. Not to say that they're not passionate about books. They are duel-enrolled in the community college and an international college that they partake in via face time every week.

Flint collects occult items, as well as cursed items, but most of all, books. They are passionate about tomes and scrolls and will collect as many as they can, with the goal to be able to read and/or decode them. They have purchased a house in Indieville and have moved much of their collection as would fit.

-The "tattoo" on their shoulder is actually a scar; they once made a deal with a demon, carving the seal into their body. They did it for a rare book that had been destroyed to be restored. In doing so they created a bond with what is essentially a demonic librarian. They will still occasionally summon said demon to restore lost texts.

-Once was sold into human trafficking. They made it out because someone who was a buyer happened to be a friend of their family, and recognized them. They were purchased and returned home. It happened because they were following a lead on an original copy of an elvish scroll set that ended up not being real. They have a trident band marking on their thigh from this encounter.

-Is essentially useless without being reminded to self care. They are the type of person who will sit in front of their computer, then 3 days later realize they should probably eat or something. They have an alarm system on their phone to remind them to take their meds.

-A hobby they picked up was blacksmithing. In their old home they had a fully functioning forge in the basement. They do this only for fun and mostly enjoy making replicas of some of their cursed objects for museums to have on display so that they can keep the original in their collection.

-Can't drive, have no interest in ever learning. Cars are not to be trusted under their control.

-Their parents love the fuck out of them, and they are expected to go home at least 4 times a year to visit.

-Wants a monster boyfriend really bad.
